Who is she?

Seattle raised me, but my story begins in sunny San Diego— growing up as one of eleven, I quickly learned the art of making my voice heard through the pen. With a background in Psychology, I was able to utilize my own self-reflection to fine tune my passion for my writing. My works have been humbly recognized for its depth and impact over the years spanning from academia to social media. Now, after a few detours, I am committed to my soul’s work, channeling my stories into a craft that is as powerful as it is personal.

Why Blogging?

A woman dressed in a decorative, floral-patterned jacket and a black tulle skirt stands holding a silver bicycle with a Louis Vuitton bag attached to the handlebars. She wears a white cap with the word 'Depa' and stands in front of a brick wall with a large arrangement of colorful flowers.

There was a gap that I wanted to see close when it came to culturally relevant and creative storytelling in the blog space. After years of making attempts to break in to the world of writing through other mediums, I decided to pivot a little. With the early 2000’s blogging scene now a fond memory (and everyone’s nostalgia hitting peak levels), I saw a need that could be filled while still remaining true to myself and my desire to tell humorous yet captivating stories with me as the main character.

What can you expect?

As someone who enjoys many things and is extremely three-dimensional by nature, readers can expect a little bit of diversity. I am deeply consumed by creating and having fulfilling experiences and the overall exploration of life. It’s important for me to be able to preserve the essence of these memories through the art of something I love: storytelling. This is a space for it to all come to life— where every side of me gets a seat at the table. I’ll be sharing stories, personal life hacks, places i’ve been + travel recommendations, and so much more. My only hope is that you leave feeling something, anything, but at the very least, somehow different than you came.
